Once your registration is submitted, you should submit a video of the student performing 12-20 lines of Shakespeare (for students who can handle it!) or reciting anything from a bedtime rhyme to the Pledge of Allegiance to a couple pages of a favorite book. These do not have to be memorized, but should show the student's ability as a speaker and/or reader. This is low-fuss, low-pressure. If the student sings or plays musical instruments, please include this in the video. If the student is not a performer, but has interest in writing, directing, or technical theatre, please send a video of introduction and any materials you'd like us to consider. You may submit directly to
info@sweetteashakespeare.com with a file or YouTube, Dropbox, or other common video hosting link, or you can include a link to the file below. Upon receipt of registration and audition video, STS staff will contact you regarding acceptance into the program. Spots are limited and in some cases deferral or waitlisting may occur. Once acceptance is issued, payment is expected within 72 hours to guarantee placement.
