The Pastor Search Team is seeking your suggestions for Lee Street CRC’s next Pastor.

The Pastor qualities we are looking for are: 

1. Biblical, Reformed worship: We seek a pastor with a teaching heart grounded in Reformed theology, leading us in the beauty of dialogue with God as we see God’s Story in our stories. We desire to be challenged to live differently throughout the week. 

2. Communication skills: We seek a pastor who is confident and comfortable speaking, listening, and writing to the church community.

3. Administrative, leadership and collaborative skills: We seek a pastor whose energy, wisdom and enthusiasm engages the church leaders and family to be active in the ministry of the church. The pastor also leads in the business of supervising, managing and encouraging ministry staff.

4. Pastoral care: We seek a pastor who anticipates the needs of individuals and takes initiative to meet those needs in collaboration with elders and deacons. The pastor is easily approachable and is comfortable talking to people of a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and life situations.

5. Bilingual strongly preferred - English and Spanish: We seek a pastor who draws the English and Spanish-speaking parts of our church family together, encouraging richer connections and relationships within our family. 

6. Passion for church growth: We seek a pastor eager to build relationships with other cultures and our neighborhood. The pastor empowers and inspires our church family to action in the neighborhoods in which we worship, work and live. To this end, a parsonage is provided to immerse the pastor in the neighborhood.

7. Comfort with technology: We seek a pastor who uses these tools to reach out to the congregation and community throughout the week and enhance worship on Sundays.
