Free Community Store Volunteers
Thank you for taking interest in supporting Fire's youth led mutual aid project in collaboration with youth scholars from Confident S.O.L.E.

This is the first time we are holding space for physical distribution of resources in this form and we are learning as we go with a rooted understanding of systemic barriers, the realities and nuances of navigating houselessness, lack of necessary resources, safety and cleanliness.

We would love for you to join this journey of community showing up for each other in a way that supports and centers artistry, especially youth artistry. Folks have took their time mapping out space, thinking of creative ways to share and create resources, and implement joy in showing up for each other.

We imagine providing space for youth (ages 13-21 years old) to do a load of laundry during drop in times in September, collaborating with community-based artists to provide drop-in workshops related to arts and mental health, and lastly holding space for youth to nap or engage in various methods of rest safely.

If you are interested in volunteering during a store date, please fill out the form below so that we may learn about you and see in what ways you can support this vision!

Thank you again for being you! We'll connect soon!
