Young Professionals of Iowa Board Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in joining the Young Professionals of Iowa (YPIowa) Board. The YPIowa Board is made up of Iowa young professionals who have a passion for making Iowa the best state to live and work for emerging leaders. 

The YPIowa Board is responsible for the management of the YPIowa organization, a statewide 501c3 nonprofit that exists to support and connect Iowa YP organizations and their leaders. The board provides oversight of organization policy/procedures, financial management, meetings and events, and more. Joining the YPIowa Board allows you to connect with other young professionals to discuss community needs, gain insight from other YP leaders, and facilitate opportunities to enhance the YP network in Iowa.

To apply: Please complete the brief form below to express your interest in serving on the YPIowa Board for the upcoming year and/or as positions become available. 
  • Board terms vary and align with the calendar year (Jan. - Dec.). 
  • Meetings are currently held virtually (1 hr.) on a monthly basis.
  • Candidates must live or work in Iowa to qualify for board service, but may represent any Iowa community/region. It is imperative that the YPIowa Board represent a wide variety of Iowa communities.
  • Candidates are not required to represent an active YP organization to serve on the YPIowa Board.
