The Bailey Dance Company (BDC) was formed in the 2016-17 School year with the goal for those students who dance (or have ability) at the intermediate/advanced level and have a strong desire to share this talent with our school and surrounding community. We eventually adopted the mantra "Bringing Dance to Communities". Over the past several years the 15-20 annual members have taken in part in a variety dance related activities including our annual Veteran's Day program, Allegro Foundation Dance Support Volunteers, Holiday Showcase & Silent Auction, Black History Month Performance, Huntersville Elementary "Chance to Dance" program with extensions students, National Dance Week & Dance A Thon, Dancing with the Staff, & more!  We proudly implement a variety of fundraising aspects to our performances to help support our local community.

If our vision of "Bringing Dance to Communities" through dance, performance, and community service, interests you, please continue on to complete the audition form by answering ALL required questions and understanding details regarding the upcoming audition.

The below form is DUE NO LATER than WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th.  

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND BOTH AUDITION DAYS: Thursday, September 8th & Friday, September 9th  8AM-9:10 AM, in the Dance Room (D9).  Please wear clothing you can stretch & move in.  Bare feet, socks, or dance shoes are permitted.

CLUB COMMITMENT DETAILS:
- We meet Tuesday & Wednesday's during Club Time (school arrival until 9:40am)
- Some 8am practice times may apply when we are approaching time close to performances
- First year member fee $75, 2nd year member fee $50, 3rd year member fee $25
- BDC Jacket will be separate fee charged. Typically ranges $30-$50.
