Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) Coach Agreement 2021-2022
Dear CASC Coach Applicant,
As a CASC Coach, you will be stepping into the role of ushering new administrators into the important work of educational leadership. Coaching studies cite the incredible value that high quality coaching has on new leaders. Coaching benefits include increases in positive working relationships, self and work satisfaction, decision making clarity, leadership effectiveness and job retention.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
Coaches must meet the following eligibility requirements prior to admission.
1. Possess a valid Clear Administrative Services Credential
2. Completed three years or more of successful administrative service
COACH RESPONSIBILITIES
I agree to the following responsibilities as a District/Site Coach.
Professional Learning:
1. Attend the CASC Orientation Meeting.
2. Attend six (6) Coach meetings/trainings (12 hours) and three or four (3-4) CASC Candidate CPSEL Seminars (9-12 hours) as required by the CTC and the SLOCOE CASC Program.
3. Attend the CASC Summative Meeting.
3. Comply with policy regarding missed CASC meetings and seminars: No more than one absence.
Supervision:
1. Make myself available to the assigned candidate(s), as needed, to provide a minimum of 40 hours of coaching and guidance.
2. Ensure that I am not the candidate’s evaluating supervisor, nor directly responsible for the status of their employment contract.
3. Collaborate with my assigned candidate(s) in response to the candidate’s needs and provide guidance and information that leads to the candidate’s effective leadership practice.
Program Responsibilities:
1. Submit Coaching Records and a Coaching Log, as required by the program due dates.
2. Participate in ongoing program evaluation, including a program evaluation survey.
3. Communicate questions or concerns about the SLOCOE CASC Program to the Program Director.
