Other Events:

Tandem Competition
Points from this competition will be added to the points gained in the second event in Invercargill to be held on the ?? August 2022.  Trophies will be awarded in Invercargill.
Please indicated on the form provided if you are taking part in this event.

Note: for competitors seeking assessment, points from the first event (9th July) will be used.

Unders & Overs: A senior competitor (18yrs & over) dancing with a junior competitor (17 yrs & under).  1 Medium Song. Entries on the day only. Dress code not essential.

Senior Cruise Section: Senior Couple not in any other section, dance to one song, entries taken on the day only. Dress code not essential.

Interclub Challenge: Any couple not competing together in any other section, entries taken on the day. No Dress code.
 
Notes:
Entries close on 30th June – No Late entries will be accepted
Assessments - Please advise the Club Secretary and your club secretary if you wish to be assessed for National Competition. The club Secretary should sign the entry form if an assessment is indicated.
Competition Dress for assessments will be monitored during the Best Dressed parades.
Heats will only be danced if entries are sufficient. If any event has 3 or more heats, a semifinal will be danced. A section having a “Final” only will be judged on points.
NOTE: there will not be finals for the Tandem Competition.
Couples (except Unders & Overs, Senior Cruise) will dance to 1 Slow and then 1 Fast song in all heats, semi-finals & finals.
Triples will dance to 1 slow medium and then 1 faster medium song in heats & finals.
Unders & Overs, Senior Cruise - Heats, Semis & Final– 1 medium song.
Music & judging will be as per association guidelines. In Senior Cruise, Unders & Overs and Interclub Challenge sections, having fun will be taken into consideration.
The National Association dress code will apply to all sections except as listed above.
