Sky Bridge is an optional program for skiers between the ages of 6 and 7 years old.  Its purpose is two-fold:
- To provide a transition for a child that has graduated from Sky Kids but might not be ready for the teaching structure in the Junior Ski Program.
- To help parents become comfortable and effective ski instructors which will lead to greater parent participation in the Junior Ski Program.

Sky Bridge classes are taught by parent instructors in a smaller class setting, often two instructors to 4-6 children.  The Sky Bridge Certified Instructor team assist parents in that day’s teaching with before and on-hill engagement. Our goal is to create a safe and fun learning environment for everyone, with continued participation in the Junior Ski Program as your child matures.

Please fill out this form to request enrollment in Sky Bridge if you feel your child will benefit from this program, and also meets the following criteria:
- Skiers only (please connect with the Snowboard team for their Grommets program)
- Will be 6-7 years old at some time during the 2024 ski season
- Earned level 3P or higher at Sky Tavern in a previous season
- One of the parents will volunteer and has previous volunteer experience at Sky Tavern
- Parent and child are already registered as members at Sky Tavern for 2024*

*To register for Sky Tavern for 2024, please follow this link and register for these memberships for you and your child:
- child of member 6+
- Adult support member or instructor
Are you and your child registered as members at Sky Tavern already? *
Was your child punched up to at least a Level 3P* by a Sky Tavern certified instructor last year?

*Note, Level 3P meant their class was riding the chair lift to the top of the mountain and your child was skiing down the whole way successfully.
*
If the answer above is 'no', please describe why your child would fit well within a class structure focused on skiers level 3P and above?

*Note, if you are new to Sky Tavern, or unsure about your child's level, please meet with Kate, John, Sue, Steve, or Eaton at the Sky Bridge program to add your child to the program once they achieve level 3P in the Big Program.   No need to sign up now

Email address (please include an email address that you check weekly as we will be sending out weekly notes to the group).  If you want to add 2 emails, please separate them using a semicolon (;).  We send weekly emails (that are short and informative) out to our adults at the beginning of the season, so please make sure your email is spelled correctly. *
I am aware that in order for my child to participate in Sky Bridge, I will need to instruct another student on the snow. If I am not able to ski up the lift to assist with Sky Bridge classes, I agree that I will assist Level 1-2 skiers in Sky Kids*.

*Note, if you have a medical condition that restricts your volunteer service or already volunteers in a defined, trained Sky Tavern role (Ski patrol, Race Team, Cook, Parking Lead, Bus Parent, etc.), please add this information to the survey for our review.
