Silent Auction Lead: Coordinate with other committee members to set guidelines and bring in auction items for the event. Work with the team to create item descriptions, set bidding prices, and ensure a balance of desired items for the auction.
Silent Auction Helper: Assist with securing and organizing items in the auction including but not limited to: asking businesses and community members for items, organizing items, creating item descriptions, setting bidding prices.
Event Design: Work with the committee and A2S staff to determine the theme of the event, then bring it to life through table settings, displays, and event layout.
Volunteer Coordinator: We typically need somewhere between 5-20 volunteers to make this event run smoothly. Once we have a solidified idea of how the night will flow, the volunteer coordinator will work with A2S staff to determine the number of needed volunteers and who to reach out to. The coordinator will then help secure volunteers and manage volunteer jobs during the event.
Sponsorship Ambassador: We're going to need sponsors for this event! Our team is finalizing our sponsorship packet for this year. Anyone in this role would work with us to identify and approach potential sponsors.
GiveSmart Guru: Our event is managed through a customizable website called "GiveSmart". Our GiveSmart Guru will work with A2S staff to manage the auction and check in/check out processes. (Don't worry, the A2S staff are prepared to train you and ensure you have the support you need here!)
Run of Show Manager: This role is responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly on the day of the event. They will have detailed knowledge and a minute-by-minute breakdown of all the moving parts to make sure we stay on schedule. This will be the best person to answer volunteer and attendee questions during the event. This is also our go-to person the day of the event to troubleshoot anything that may come up (with the help of A2S staff).
Logistics Team: Work with the Run of Show manager to ensure everything about the event flow is clear and organized. Does everyone have access to parking information? What event signage will we need? How will the flow of the event create an experience for guests? These are some of the questions the logistics team will help answer as we design the event.
Committee Chair: Ready to go all-in for Soulful Supper? Coordinate and lead committee meetings, record meeting notes and next steps, and work closely with A2S staff to ensure everyone is on the same page for a successful event!
