Collecting feedback for a prospective business

Do you ever wish you could go back and re-learn some of the subjects you were taught in school? To learn for the love of learning, instead of memorizing facts to then regurgitate on an exam?

Idea: A business that rents a local coffee shop in Manhattan to be converted into a classroom. The ethos of this concept is to create polymaths, helping people learn about interesting topics - with each topic lasting three 1-hour sessions (on a weekly basis over the course of 1 month). The premise is to give people an understanding of the basics of the subject.

Examples may include chess, poker, cooking, computer science, biology, art, nutrition, U.S. history, home repairs, filing taxes, astrology, etc. Not only randomly specific subjects such as roman history, but also how to be a better partner. There will be an instructor with deep knowledge of the topic and the class would always be in-person alongside other classmates. Note that it wouldn't be hands-on for any topic, but akin to a lecture.

The question is...would people pay for a subscription to an in-person learning program for the love of learning about interesting, new topics?
