Poetry Loves Perth https://poetofjazz.com/poetry-lovers-perth/ welcomes poets at every stage (beginner, hobbyist, professional) of their creative writing journey. During each in-person and online workshop we study and discuss different poetic forms (e.g. haiku, sonnet) and devices (e.g. the line, sonics, etc) before encouraging each other to create or develop poetry inspired by ideas, memories, research, stories, and personal responses to prompts provided. 

Everyone’s welcome at Poetry Lovers Perth, a club which exists to encourage participants to support members in celebrating and developing each other’s poetic knowledge, skills, and talent. We strive to be an inclusive interactive practical poetry workshop in which participants are invited to contribute thoughts, ideas, skills, tips, opportunities, and knowledge. The program features encouragement and opportunities to share, publish, and perform works created. 

Please bring your own preferred writing materials (e.g. pen & paper, phone, laptop, etc), register below, and arrive on time. Places are limited so if unable to attend a workshop after receiving confirmation please notify Jake Dennis via email as soon as possible so your place may be provided to another person.
