So how do house concerts work ?

1. Find a space (lounge-rooms & backyards work well). 

2. Book a date 

3. Invite 30 of your closest friends & family 

We provide you with : 

• A link to help sell tickets 
• A Facebook event to help promote the show 
• 90 minutes of entertainment and 
• A small vocal PA

What do you need to do? 

• Provide a space
• Provide power for the PA system to plug into next to your preferred "stage" area 
• Invite your friends and family to the event 

FAQs

I'd love to host a show but I can't be bothered hosting an entire party. 

Ask guests to BYO chairs, drinks & snacks - no effort required by the host. 

We can also keep the event under a 2 hour window, so people know when it's time to leave. 

I'd love to host a show but I don't have a space ?

How about the local hall ? local pub ? cafe ? what about your favourite caravan park ?

If you've got mates that would love to see a show, we can dress up any space to make it like a house concert. 

I'd love to host a show but I don't have any friends ?

Open the show to the public and we will help get the people there. 

Will my address be kept private ?

Yes ! Only the guests you invite will know where to go and the show won't be promoted publically. 

How much does a house concert cost ?

Friday / Saturday / Sunday : $800 Performance Fee + $400 Travel *

Mid Week : $400 Performance Fee + $400 Travel *

You can purchase the concert outright, or sell tickets at $20, $25 or even $30 depending on how many people you'd like to invite. 

(*Suggested Fee - I know the economic climate is getting tough, so please do have a chat with me to see what we can come up with together if this feels a little steep. I want to be out there playing music no-matter what and if I can offset some of the travel with other gigs and things, i'll happily play to you and your 5 best mates for a reduced fee where I can). 

Will you perform at my 60th , Wedding, Bahmitzvah ?

This is a little different to a house concert. The answer is usually yes, but i'll need more details as these kind of events are billed a little differently (and usually date dependant which makes things a little harder for me to plan). 

A house concert is a sit down and listen type of gig for 60 minutes. Weddings & Parties are typically 3 hour background music shows and require a slightly different approach (and a slightly higher budget).
