After you have spoken to your partner farmer and gotten information on what is available on their farm, please provide your menu item for the Picnic.

Plan for 500 tastings. You will need to arrive ready to plate your dish. Please note that the picnic site has limited electricity, no refrigeration, no cooking equipment, and no kitchens, so you will need to consider this when developing your menu/dish for the event. No open/exposed flames. You will need to bring your own tablecloth, serving utensils, and supplemental ingredients to round out the dish. Please do not bring any disposable materials that you do not plan to take with you. We work hard to make this a “trash free” event and provide the supplies that support that goal. Thanks so much for your willingness to help achieve this! We will have recycling and compostable services available throughout the event.

We will provide you with compostable plates to serve on for the event. UNLESS YOU SPECIFY OTHERWISE, YOU WILL RECEIVE 6” ROUND PLATES. We will provide one 8’ table, compostable plates, beverage napkins, and signage. We provide attendees with 1 all-purpose eating utensil at check-in.

As a reminder, farmers are requested to offer a discount of 25% off wholesale pricing on meat products and a discount of 50% off wholesale pricing on produce. Some farmers even donate their products to the restaurant they pair with! However, donation is not required for farmer participation. Please work with your farmer to figure out payment.
