Applications for all roles are open until the 10th of the month - we encourage you to apply for as many positions as you're interested in, even if you're fairly new to the site. You must be at least 18 to apply for validator; all other roles are open to any member (i.e., 16+). We'll notify you one way or the other by the end of the month you apply in - if we don't offer you a position immediately, we'll keep your application under consideration for an additional two months. After that, you'll need to apply again.

A sixteen year old and a twenty one year old may date in a T-rated fic.

An M-rated fic with a Consent Issues advisory can include explicit content depicting an adult being raped under some circumstances.

Members may review one chapter multiple times as long as they aren't spamming.

A story that's almost entirely smut can be validated with an M-rating and a Sexual Content advisory.

An M-rated story with a Self-Harm advisory can depict a character cutting themselves without explicitly regretting it.

A T-rated story in which a sixteen year old smokes marijuana requires a Substance Abuse advisory.

A Slurs advisory is necessary if the word "cunt" is used in describing a sex scene in an M-rated fic with a Sexual Content advisory.

An M-rated story that repeatedly mentions self-harm requires a Self-Harm advisory.

Authors are limited to two chapter images or one picspam per chapter.

A member must get permission before writing a story based on another member's story.

A member forgetting to rate offsite M-rated material twice in a week should receive an official warning.

There are some situations in which a warn point may be assigned without a verbal warning first.

Members are permitted to start new challenges while they're finishing up the judging for their first ones.

Someone repeatedly posting complaints about an affiliated site in their status updates does not require any action from a moderator.

Double posting is strongly discouraged outside of House Cup events.

Members are not required to credit themselves provided that they made the graphics they're using.

A status that says "fuck this fucking story, I give up" does not require any intervention.

Members may not vote for themselves in site competitions.

A link to a story that wouldn't be permitted on the archive can be posted on the forums, provided that it's rated M.
