AHEC MCAT Prep Advantage

This application is for students wishing to apply to the AHEC MCAT Prep Advantage program. Selected students will be offered the Kaplan MCAT Self-Paced course at a reduced cost of $350.

As part of the program, students must participate in the following:

* Online mandatory orientation -- TBA
* Full Length Practice Test 1-- TBA
* Full Length Practice Test 2 -- TBA
* Complete a mock interview with the AHEC office (April 2021)
* Submit their personal statement to the AHEC office for review (Spring 2020)
* Complete a minimum of 5 hours of shadowing with a health professional (COVID dependent)

Participant Selection -- Participants will be selected for the program based on their:
* MCAT readiness - Have you taken all of the pre-requisite courses?
* Kentucky residency - Kentucky residents are given priority
* Financial need
