SCICON23 - Call for Presentations           
SCICON23 will take place in Hamilton from 13-16th April, 2023 at Rototuna High School, Hamilton. 
Please use this form to register your interest in presenting a seminar, workshop, or practical session on the 15th or 16th April.  As the committee prepares the programme, we will be in touch to confirm details.
It is expected that all presenters will be registered conference delegates.

Understand, Know, Do
As many educators will be aware, the NZC is undergoing a refresh which signals a change in the way Science educators will frame their teaching and learning programmes.
  • Understand: the big ideas
  • Know: rich contexts for exploring the big ideas
  • Do: practices that bring rigour to learning
The SCICON23 committee would like to run themed sessions on Saturday 15th, so we encourage all ECE, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY presenters to think about one of these ideas and frame their presentation around UKD.  Please signal your category on this form.
