Project Graduation - Class of 2024. This event takes place on Sunday, May 26th, starting after graduation ends and running throughout the night. This event is for graduating Lahainaluna High School seniors only.

Project Graduation Class of 2024
This is a voluntary, fun-filled, safe, drug and alcohol-free all-night party designed to celebrate this important milestone in life. Students gather at a specified check in location following graduation and then are transported to various locations for food, fun, entertainment and activities, returning to the check in location in the morning. You will not want to miss this opportunity for one last party for the Class of 2023 to all attend together
Note: Event details subject to change and additional details will be provided closer to the event.

Cost is $30 per student if paid by no later than April 24th. After that, space is based on availability and cost to attend will increase. (through April 25, 2024 - May 17, 2024 cost is $60; May 18, 2024 - May 24, 2024 cost is $100, cost for walk-ins on May 26th is $200.)

PICK UP/CHECK OUT: Due to fatigue, students are NOT allowed to drive home alone or walk home alone after Project Graduation. (Note: The driver must come into the LHS Cafeteria to sign out the student.) Please list the name and contact number of at least one and up to four authorized driver(s). *
RULES AND PROCEDURES
PARTICIPATION: This event is open to graduating high school seniors only.  

CHECK-IN: SENIORS MUST BE CHECKED IN BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.  Check-in will begin approximately thirty minutes after commencement exercises, in Lahainaluna High School Cafeteria.  Seniors not checked in by deadline (9 pm) will be considered “no-shows.” Seniors must remain with the celebration until released the following morning. Participants will be bussed to and from celebration locations.

CONTRABAND AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: 
(1) Drugs and alcohol are illegal items. (Police will be called and students will be arrested.)
(2) Cellular phones, Go-Pros, camcorders, iPods, and other electronic devices are prohibited. Items will be confiscated and not returned until Monday morning at check-out. 
(3) Cigarettes and E-Cigarettes are banned items and not allowed at this event.   
(4) Purses, backpacks and bags will not be permitted.

PERSONAL ITEMS:  Students may bring the following:  one lei (flower only), a small “see-through” bag, for personal hygiene items and needed medication. If a student requires medication, the medication should be put in a plastic bag, labeled with the student’s name, and turned in at check-in. 

Each student will be given a souvenir T-shirt at check-in. The T-shirt needs to be worn throughout Project Grad for identification purposes.  Students will need to change their clothes after picking up their T-shirts at check-in.  Casual and comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended. Please be sure to bring comfortable clothes to check in. Students will be provided access to bathrooms to change into these clothing. 

CHECK-OUT: Parent/Guardian or designated adult must pick up student at the Lahainaluna  High School on Monday at 5:30 AM in the morning. The adult must come into cafeteria to sign check-out form to gain the release of his/her participant. Under no circumstances, will a participant be allowed to drive or walk home after Project Graduation. The Project Graduation Committee are not responsible for student after return to the school property.

EVENT CONTACTS: Upon request, phone numbers for Project Grad coordinators will be provided at check-in so that you will be able to contact your child in the case of an emergency.  

Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement of Rules and Procedures
I have read all of the above rules/guidelines and am confident that my child will abide by them. I agree that if I receive a phone call notifying me that my child is not obeying the guidelines set forth, I will pick my child up immediately. *

I understand that if I violate any rules set by the Project Graduation Committee or if I am disruptive and/or uncooperative, my parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will be notified and must pick me up immediately. If I am apprehended with drugs or alcohol, I understand that the police will be called and that I may be arrested. *
Photo consent
Photos and videos will be taken at the event and will become the property of the Parent Project Grad Committee/Lahainaluna High School PTSA and may be used in various media. I consent and authorize the use of photographs of me without compensation by any members of the Project Grad Committee/Lahainaluna High School PTSA. *
Project Graduation Waiver
I understand that this celebration is a gift offered to all graduates of Lahainaluna High School and that it is being planned by a group of volunteer students, parents and supportive adults. I also understand that participation in this celebration is fully voluntary. In consideration of the benefits to be derived and having full confidence that every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of my child, I agree to waive all claims and will not place suit or hold liable any organizer of Project Graduation Lahaina, their volunteers, any vendor, venue, and/or activity provider hired by Project Graduation Lahaina or the Lahainaluna High School PTSA for any incident or injury that may occur to my child while attending this party. *
