This is the form for students who are interested in becoming a research assistant or volunteer for the Project JUNTOS Lab under Dr. Lorenzo-Blanco for the Spring 2022 semester or beyond.

In this position, participate in our weekly lab meeting, help prepare materials for data collection and recruitment visits, and assist with data management.

For the fall semester we will be focusing on two studies: the Freshman Survey Project and JUNTOS Familia. The primary aim of Freshman Survey Project is to survey first-year Latinx/Hispanic students to better understand the college experience of incoming Latinx/Hispanic freshmen students at UT Austin as a means to gather data that can inform programs to support Latinx/Hispanic students at UT. The primary aim of JUNTOS Familia is to explore the experiences of Latinx high school students and their parents in regards to discrimination, prejudice, and racism.
