Monroe County 4-H Club Standards Award
The purpose is to recognize Monroe County 4-H Clubs for having the following characteristics:

A quality educational program for all members.
A Club environment where all youths feel like they belong.
An environment where youths are actively engaged in exploring and learning about their interests.
Opportunities for youths to strive for mastery in subject matter of interests.
Opportunities for youths to set goals and be actively involved in the planning, implementing and evaluating the group’s program.

When a club initially receives this award they will be given a banner with their club name on it.
They will also receive a medal to hang on the banner, with the year the club-standard was won and it will correspond to the color of the level that they achieved.

Award Levels
There are 3 levels that a 4-H club can achieve Gold, Silver, and Bronze these levels are based on a point system in 8 categories.

Budget (up to 300 points)
Community Service (up to 300 points)
Trained Adult Leadership (up to 300 points)
Youth-Led 4-H Clubs (up to 300 points)
Awards and Recognition (up to 200 points)
Club Programming (up to 200 points)
Youth Retention (up to 200 points)
4-H Events (up to 100 points)


To achieve Gold Status you must have 1300 points and complete at least 5 out of the 8 categories in Gold
To achieve Silver Status you must 925 points and complete at least 5 out of the 8 categories in Silver or higher
To achieve Bronze Status you must 500 points
