We are on look out for volunteers to join our Govanhill Community Market team!

On the 25th of September, Govanhill Community Market will take over the Batson Street Laboratory, next to the
beloved Govanhill Picture House, to facilitate performances, film screenings and workshops alongside a market
programme open to the participation of all local residents and organisations.

We are looking for some friendly faces to make this exciting event happen and ensure it is accessible and safe. We will need plenty of help before, during and after the event.

Below we have listed some skill areas, please select as many as you are interested in, you don't need to be an expert, but a little knowledge and enthusiasm go a long way.

There is also space for you to make suggestions, and if you have a specific ideas or proposals please give a brief outline in the box at the end.

working towards strengthening Govanhill communities
- Contribute to the longer-term revitalisation of Batson Street and
the Govanhill Picture House

We’re committed to making sure the event is fully in line with Scottish Government regulations. COVID-19 training and procedures will be part of your induction, and all necessary protective equipment will be provided.
