Thank you for supporting the 2020 Sounds of the Mountains Festival at Camp Bethel with your ticket purchase. Due to all the COVID-19 upheaval including a ban on gatherings of 10 or more, we will not be able to hold the in-person festival on April 3-4 as previously planned.
However, we are committed to providing you with some joyful entertainment during this anxious and isolated time. The tellers will be recording and submitting video sets, and we will compile and create FIVE fun hour-long "Shows" permanently available to watch any time beginning April 4 on our "CampBethelVirginia" YouTube channel (with links from SoundsoftheMountains.org). One of the five shows will be specifically geared toward Elementary School students to provide over 700 3rd-4th-5th graders a substitution for their cancelled in-person field trip. Participating performers are happy to be "with you" in this way!
We invite you to consider donating all or part of your prior ticket purchase to help Camp Bethel weather significant financial losses due to March-through-May retreat cancellations, to help us pay for festival expenses already incurred and performer fees, and to help ensure we can move ahead with festival plans for 2021. A refund is also available if needed.
This event is a fundraiser for Camp Bethel (owned by the Virlina District Board - Church of the Brethren), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so donations are tax-deductible (and very much needed and appreciated!).
Please complete the following form by April 3 to indicate your choice of donation or refund. Donors will receive a confirmation of your gift including the link to watch our entire "At-Home Festival" any time beginning April 4. If you wish to make an additional donation toward our creative efforts, please visit
