2022 Bio Boot Camps Application:                         Student Question Form
To be considered for a spot in one of the camps you need to complete and submit 1) this Student Question Form and 2) have a teacher or mentor successfully complete the on-line Letter of Reference.

The application due date is 11 PM on Monday, March 21, 2022. We may need to talk with student applicants to clarify or verify their answers below. We will do so through the phone number provided for responsible adults. Selected students will then be notified by email on or by Monday, April 4, 2022 and given the option to accept and register by the end of April. Others will be automatically placed on a wait list.

We have always given some preference to students who have shown sustained interest in our program whether they have been waitlisted in prior years or, in the case of 2020, been accepted, but had camps canceled due to the pandemic.

If you have questions, please contact Tabatha Yang at tabyang@ucdavis.edu and use "Bio Boot Camps Question" in the subject line.

We don't want cost to be a barrier to these camps, so we offer needs-based scholarships for typically 50% of the cost of camps with case-by-case adjustments. Applicants can apply now or, if offered a spot in our camps, up to two weeks after the acceptance letter. Applying or not applying for a needs-based scholarship has no bearing on your application. *
Required
Why are you (the student) interested in attending this camp? (This is the core of the application, so give us an answer that reflects who you are! We want to read the applicant's own words. No one except the potential camper should write this. At least a few paragraphs is recommended.) *
