WSST/DPI Virtual Book Study 2022-23
Welcome to registration for the annual virtual book study - this year we're digging into the NSTA Understanding Climate Change book, my.nsta.org/resource/116832, and other climate change resources. Virtual discussions will be monthly from October to February, with an in-person session at the WSST Conference in Madison in March.

What do you hope to learn/discuss about climate change?
Our tentative plan is to have our virtual conversations on the second Monday afternoon (4pm) or evening (8pm) of October, November, December, January, and February. Does that work for you? If not, what would work better?
If (and only if) you're a current WSST member or applying for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (www.paemst.org), then add your address here to receive a free book, while supplies last.
If you're a 7-12 teacher, please consider applying for the Presidential Award (www.paemst.org). What do you think?
Any educator can join our book study, though elementary teachers are also invited to join the WSST Elementary Committee's book study on Make Just One Change, focusing on having students ask more/better questions in class. Email Marcia Gardner - mgardner@lacrossesd.org - or Shelley Petzold - spetzold@madisoncountryday.org - for information. You can also add your email here if interested.
