Befriending is a commitment. In order to build meaningful and strong relationships, we kindly ask for at least six months of your dedication, devoting about one hour each week. Your reliability and ability to keep things confidential are paramount in this role. If life takes a turn and you need to step back from your volunteering role, a notice of one month would be appreciated. We deeply value your commitment to help our community!

Just to let you know, because we support some vulnerable individuals, we require two references from you.

We won't share it with anyone outside of our admin team and we'll only use it when it's absolutely necessary to help organise your volunteering.
