PIT Pre-Orientation Application (2024)
This year’s Putting It Together in the Community program (PIT) is a 3-day community service immersion experience offered from August 20 – 22, 2024 by Franklin & Marshall College’s Ware Institute for Civic Engagement for 25 first year students.  Students will learn about both the Lancaster and the F&M communities while participating in a variety of service projects, team-building activities, icebreakers, shared meals, reflection activities and more. 

PIT Pre-O is first come, first serve. We are accepting 25 students. Additional applicants will be added to our waitlist. The application deadline is July 1, 2024.

Check-in for PIT Pre-O is Tuesday, August 20, 2024, between 9:00am & 2:00pm. This will also be the timeframe for moving into your dorm. A sign-up sheet for check-in times will be sent in August. Will you be able to move in during that timeframe? *
PIT costs $250. Scholarships are available based on financial aid. If you receive a financial aid package and would like information about scholarships, please select "yes". Otherwise, please select "no".   *
