Following the launch of the global #MeToo movement,  MeTooEP has since 2018 been committed to fight violence and harassment in the European Parliament, denouncing all kinds of abuse and power imbalance, and promoting gender equality. 

We advocate internally and externally for better anti-harassment policies to eradicate all types of violence and harassment, and for better victim support. For example, we have created a blog, where we publish testimonials of survivors of violence and harassment in the European Parliament. With this blog, we want to create a safe space for victims to anonymously come forward and share information on how to receive help. Our movement succeeded in breaking the culture of silence that is surrounding harassment in the EP.

No one is safe, until everyone is safe!
