NOMV is excited to recognize the contributions of our incredible team of supporters! Anyone is eligible to submit a nomination (including self-nominations) except for members of the Annual Award Review Committee.

Each individual nominator may submit only one nomination per award, but may submit a nomination for each award category (e.g. one person can nominate a rising volunteer, emerging volunteer, event, etc. but one person cannot nominate two or more people for the rising volunteer award).

Any award where multiple nominations for the same individual/group/activity exist will be compiled into a nomination packet with each individual response being recorded, but the review committee will complete the rubric based on the combined nominations.

The Executive Director will be responsible for confirming that all nominations meet the eligibility criteria prior to sending the nomination to the Annual Award Review Committee.

Additionally, winners for all individual award categories cannot earn the same award within a 3-year period and cannot earn an additional individual award category the year immediately following their previous individual award. For example, all 2022 individual award winners would not be eligible for an individual award until 2024. Additionally, those award winners could not earn the same individual award (e.g. Established Volunteer) a second time until the 2025 Annual Awards at earliest. Winners for all group/activity award categories cannot earn the same award within a 1 year period.
