Hello Room Parents:

Thank you for volunteering your time as a Room Parent! You provide an invaluable service to the school. Your teacher and students greatly appreciate your support.

General Guidelines:

1. Collect contact information for parents from the classroom. No classroom mailing lists available from WeibelPTO. 

2. Collect funds for class room celebration and use that for all class room celebration activities. ($20 to $30 per child)

3. Organizing the main events for the year(October to June) like Halloween, Holiday celebration, Valentines Day, Teacher Appreciation week and end of the year celebration.
4. All other celebrations are optional and room parent can coordinate with other parents for class to celebrate with teacher’s permission

5. Collaborate with parents in taking pictures for year around class room celebration(s) (Google Photos is a good option). These will be used for creating the class room yearbook page by the room parent or class room yearbook volunteer (March/April)

6. Support School wide events such as WildCat Run etc. 

7. Providing support to the teacher as and when required. Facilitating communication between the class teacher and the parent if needed

8. Parents can help each other out in planning the events by sharing the tasks.

9. Help coordinate with other committees like the yearbook and spirit wear.
      10.    Lead teacher's appreciation week task with the help from other class parent coordinators
