The Western NSW Dance Ensembles is a selective ensemble program for Year 5 to Year 12 dancers from public schools across Western NSW.

This ensemble is aimed at talented dance students with high technical skill and performance quality who wish to be involved in the choreographic process to create, learn and perform a dance work at the Western Dance Festival. This ensemble will also audition to perform at the State Dance Festival..

Applications close Friday 15 March 2024 (Term 1 Week 7)

Senior Dance Ensemble - All students who apply will attend the first rehearsal on Wednesday 3 April from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at Cowra High School.
Junior Dance Ensemble - All students who apply will attend the first rehearsal on Thurdsay 21 March from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at Orange High School.

Following this rehearsal, students will be nominated by the choreographers for selection into the Ensemble for 2024.

All students will be required to have the endorsement of their school principal for their participation in the Ensemble.
