Fall 2020 PSAT SURVEY: for 10th and 11th Graders
***Please fill out this form by this Thursday, October 8th at 5:00pm. Please complete this survey only ONCE per family.***

The PSAT/NMSQT test is scheduled for 10th and 11th graders on Thursday, October 29th. For 10th graders, this is simply a practice test for the official PSAT to be taken in the junior year.  For juniors, this is a practice for the SAT, and it also serves as the qualifying test to determine National Merit Scholar status.  The school pays the cost for this test and handles all registration logistics with the students directly.

All 10th and 11th graders who are ON CAMPUS will take the PSAT on October 29th, and we will accommodate as many Distance Learners as possible with preference given to juniors.

If COVID conditions allow school to remain open in Semester 2, we will have a PSAT/NMSQT make-up date on January 26, 2021. Because we cannot guarantee this testing date, students (especially juniors) are encouraged to take the test on October 29th.

The school will follow COVID-19 safety protocols (e.g. no more than 14 students per classroom to allow for social distancing, students will be asked to bring their own pencils and calculators if they own one, and we will ask students who are not well to PLEASE stay home).

The College Board publishes an official Study Guide for the PSAT/NMSQT each year.  You can copy and paste this link to access it:  https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/psat-nmsqt-student-guide.pdf
