2021 Kubernetes BakeOff Application
Welcome, Container Baker!

We will be selecting 6 to 8 Kubernetes contributors to participate in the second annual BakeOff (K8sBO). No professional experience is required ... just enthusiasm, availability, and the willingness to wash a lot of dishes.

In order to participate in the K8sBO, you must be available for a live broadcast from 11:30am PST (19:30 UTC) to 2:30pm PST (20:30 UTC) on Saturday, December 18th, as well as for one test session to be scheduled later.  You will be streaming video from your own kitchen (or someone's that you borrow), so you also need to be able to set up a zoom session or similar video that will show you while you cook.  You must be registered for the Contributor Celebration (https://www.kubernetes.dev/events/kcc2021/)

Your baked item must be made from scratch entirely during the 90 minute broadcast.  You must also be able to provide us with a story of how the baked item you chose relates to Kubernetes and/or Cloud Native.  This year, any baked item is eligible, including pie, bread, and savory baking (Kubernetes pizza, anyone?).

You will be judged on skill, ambition, results, and showmanship by our panel of six judges from the Kubernetes community.  The winner will receive a unique, handmade, baking-related prize.

Deadline to complete this form is December 10.  You will be notified whether or not you are participating by December 13.
