MPCS Career Development Workshops:
Technical Interview Skills and MPCS Alumni Panel
Wednesday, February 19, 2020, 3-4PM, John Crerar Library, 298
Technical interviews are common for employers recruiting for engineering, science, or software roles. Essentially, it is an interview to assess your technical ability for the role, and the depth and breadth of your knowledge in your chosen field. Technical interviews are also designed to assess your problem-solving skills, your communication skills, and your ability to think under pressure. In this workshop, we will introduce you to several strategies and best practices for improving your technical interview skills. This workshop will also include a panel discussion in which MPCS alumni will share tips and insights about interviewing at tech companies. Hear directly from MPCS alumni and students what they learned going through the technical interviewing process and how it works at their companies. There is no better way to get your technical interviewing questions answered!
