SDG 2021 Registration Form

The Spectroscopy and Dynamics Group (SDG) annual meeting will take place online from January 11-12, 2021.

The talks will run between 11:00-16:00 each day, with a traditional format tutorial lecture from 11:00-12:00, and contributed talks between 14:00-16:00. There will be a poster session on the first evening of the meeting, and a quiz on the second evening.

As usual, the meeting will be open for contributions from postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows, either as contributed talks or as posters, although there will be fewer slots than in a typical in-person conference.  Each research group should put forward a single group member to give a talk, and a maximum of two group members to present posters.

Talks (Deadline 14th December 2020)

Talks will given in Zoom and will be 15 minutes long with 5 minutes for questions. (Twelve talk slots will be available.)

Posters (Deadline 16th December 2020)

Poster sessions will take place using Zoom.  (Thirty slots will be available.)

All presenters will be allocated a breakout room, where they will be able to share their screen to show their poster.  A list of poster numbers, presenters and titles will be circulated to all attendees by email.  All attendees at the session will be able to move freely between breakout rooms to visit different posters and can discuss with the presenter either via audio or the text chat option.  There are no fixed formatting requirements for the posters. However, when designing your poster, be conscious of what will be easy to read on screen. Remember, attendees can't zoom in to read text that is too small.

Registration Deadline 4th January 2021
