If your cake requires equipment (columns, cake plates etc.), security deposit of $25.00 is required at the time of final payment to ensure safe return of the equipment. The security deposit will be returned when the equipment is returned in original condition no later than one week past the event date. If the equipment is not returned by “Equipment Return Date” the security deposit is forfeited.

1. Your initial deposit of 50% reserves the event date and is non- refundable. If the event is less than one week away, 100% is required.
2. Final payment is due two weeks before the event date or the contract is null and void and deposit will not be refunded.
3. The date of your final payment is the last day for ANY changes to the desserts. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed. Additional charges may apply.
4. We are not responsible for any damage to the desserts after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing a secure table and environment for the desserts. Cakes require a sturdy table, and room temperature of 74 degrees or below.
5. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 20 free; $0.50 each additional stem. Fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants. Take this into consideration.
6. If you or any person not from Chrissy’s Delights elect to pick up and set up the desserts, you assume liability and responsibility for the condition once it leaves our possession.
7. We will photograph our desserts and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
8. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and we are not responsible for allergic reactions.
9. Delivery and setup is required for all wedding cakes and some multiple tiered cakes. We deliver up to 30 miles from our location. Please see delivery fees below. If you want to pick up your cake, please make arrangements beforehand to set up a time.
10. In the event of cancellation, desserts cancelled prior to 10 days before the event can be refunded up to 50% of balance paid. Desserts cancelled after the 10 day lockout date will not be refunded. If something occurs to affect your scheduled event date, please contact us immediately. We understand things come up and will work hard to accommodate you.
11. Please note that colors and design may vary from computer mock-up due to the nature of digital and edible components.
12. Serving sizes are an approximation and will vary from person to person. Cakes should be cut 1-1.5in thick. We are not liable for serving size if insufficient due to inaccurate cutting.

Disclaimer
In the case of an emergency or an error in your cake delivery, please contact us immediately so we can fix the issue right away. If you are not pleased with your cake for any reason, please call us the day of your event and explain the situation. If you are not pleased and would like a refund, call the day of the event so your cake can be returned. Without proof that you are indeed unhappy with the product and will not be using it for your event, we will be unable to refund any portion of your payment.
