Blaze is a youth led arts charity born in Lancashire. Our vision is a world where all young people are valued as creative citizens who can improve their lives, communities, and the world.
The new Blaze Advisory Group will meet once a month with Blaze's Director to discuss and plan new project ideas. We want to hear from young people from diverse backgrounds and with different experiences of taking part in creative activities – good and bad!
We are looking for young people who are:
- Living, working or studying in Lancashire.
- Age 16 – 25 on 01 November 2021
- Passionate about creating better creative opportunities for young people in Lancashire
- Can commit to attending a meeting once a month on a Monday evening between November 2021 and April
2022.
Each member of the group will receive £30 for every meeting that they attend. We also have budget available to make this group as accessible as possible which could including paying for childcare during the meetings, transport to attend, translation or something else that would enable you to participate.
If you are interested in joining, please complete the form below before 5pm on 31 October 2021. The form includes questions about your personal information such as your gender and ethnicity. We are asking these questions because we want the advisory group to represent a diverse range of young people with different backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences.
This opportunity is funded by Arts Council England.
