As we enter a new decade of the 21st century, the stigma around Menstruation and Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) still continues to exist in parts of India. It complicates and degrades the health of not only an individual but also has a lasting effect on the whole family and its upcoming generation. The quality of health services around MHH (menstrual health and hygiene) and SRH also remain poor and largely inaccessible in rural pockets of India.
Through our Aarogya Saathi helpline (previously Hello Saheli) we are seeking to create impact at the grassroots to bridge the gap by providing critical tele-healthcare to India's most marginalised and rural communities.
We are seeking passionate graduates or experienced general physicians, gynecologists, urologists or sexologists who are willing to volunteer or receive INR 8,000/- per month for 6 hours a week while being able to commit with us for a period of 1-3 months.
Considering we are working directly with the communities, doctors who are fluent in one of these following languages- Hindi, Kannada or Tamil are needed.
You will be provided with a unique opportunity to change this reality with your expertise, thus ensuring that right information and health advice can reach those in need through the medium of telehealth consultations.
