Avalanche Divas began as a ladies' night at ISSW 2006 in Telluride, CO. Following the event's success, ISSW 2008 in Whistler, BC, hosted the premier of the "Avalanche Divas" as a way to recognize female-identifying avalanche professionals who have made significant contributions to the field of snow and avalanches. Since then, this program has honored women from many countries who have contributed to all aspects of our profession.

We would like to invite you to nominate Avalanche Divas for the ISSW 2024 in Tromsø. The nominated Diva should, in some way, have made a significant contribution to the snow and avalanche safety field. We welcome nominations of practitioners and researchers alike.
