OPT in to take the NYSESLAT Exam
This year, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has determined that assessments will be school-based and in-person, and it will not be possible to administer any of the exams remotely. Students receiving fully-remote instruction are not expected to come to school to take the state exams, including the NYSESLAT. Families of students in fully-remote instruction may choose to have their children come to school and participate in the state exams.

If your child does not take the Spring 2021 NYSESLAT, they will continue to receive the same level of English as a New Language and/or bilingual education services for the 2021-2022 school year.

Please fill out all of the fields below.

The exams will be administered within the following dates:
• Speaking section: April 19 – June 9
• Listening, Reading, and Writing Sections: May 17 – June 9
