Why are you interested in Dare Education Foundation?
DEF operates with a Board of Directors, plus three committees.  Which committee most interests you? *
  • Our Housing Committee is interested in affordable housing here on the Outer Banks.  They make recommendations to sustain and improve DEF's educator housing at Run Hill Ridge and Buxton.
  • The Outreach Committee truly bridges our Foundation, our schools, and our community.  They market, network, and plan events and fundraisers to increase donations.  
  • Our Programs Committee volunteers serve as advisors and evaluators for our grants, scholarships, awards, and reimbursements.
