I'm always thinking about ways to improve this newsletter, both for myself and for my readers. Lately I've been toying with the idea of putting out a weekly curated booklist of new queer releases, for paying subscribers only. This would be in addition to the regular newsletter. Here's what it would look like:
- Weekly list of 5-12 new queer books in your inbox every Tuesday (book release day).
- Curated by me: a combo of books I've read and books I'm excited to read.
- Short descriptions of why I loved and/or am excited about the book—not just a list of titles.
- Mostly adult contemporary fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, with occasional YA, romance, and speculative fiction recs.
- Focused on indie press books and non-buzzy titles, i.e. the weird stuff you don't see in most new release lists and roundups.
