WHO:   This activity is for ages 7 thru 11 and you do not have to be a scout to participate! However, if you are a scout be sure to lead your Den Leader know when you finish this Nova so you are credited for the Nova Award.  This Nova applies to Wolf, Bear, and Webleos.

WHAT:  This module is designed to help you explore how math affects your life each day

WHY:  STEM is part of an initiative the Boy Scouts of America has taken on to encourage the natural curiosity of our youth and their sense of wonder about these fields through existing programs. From archery to welding, Children can’t help but enjoy the wide range of STEM-related activities. To support this initiative, the BSA developed the STEM Nova program so that youth have fun while learning.
