I will attend ALL practices and track meets.
I will communicate with my specific event coach if I cannot come to practice or a meet for ANY reason.
I will work hard to maintain over a 2.0 GPA to keep me eligible to compete.
I understand if I have any F's or NG's I cannot compete that day or that weekend (if NG or F is not cleared on that Friday prior).
I will ONLY compete in the issued uniform provided to me.
I will tell my coach and trainer if i am injured and take the necessary steps to recover.
I will represent myself, my family, and my school well at track meets.
I will NOT use foul language.
I will treat my teammates and coaches with RESPECT.
I will do my best and work hard at EVERY practice.
On meets that we host at Jordan, I will be there to assist in any capacity necessary.
I will stay to the end of each meet and support my teammates OR have a parent release form filled out and given to the head coach, Coach Dalton, prior to the day of the meet. Failure to do so, may result in suspension from next track meet.

MEET DAY ATTENDANCE POLICY: I understand I am required to attend every single class on meet day in order to compete (our Athletic Director prints a report and you will NOT compete if the absence is not doctor excused. Parent excused does NOT count).

*I understand that it is up to my event coach AND the head coach to determine if I compete and which meets I get to compete in.

Be encouraging to your child
Be respectful and supportive of coaches and other athletes on the team
Lend a helping hand for all fundraisers. We NEED everyone’s help.
Plan your vacations, doctor’s appointments, etc. so your child can attend every practice and meet. We want every athlete committed to the team.
Be willing to help out at track meets. We will always need people to help and we appreciate the help we receive.
Be willing to help with the end of the year Track Banquet\

24 hour rule- Do not contact a coach about an issue until at least 24 hours after the event/meet.

By signing below, I understand the rules and guidelines in this contract and promise to uphold them and represent Jordan High School well. If I fail to do so, I risk my eligibility to compete at track meets and/or my position on the track and field team.
