2021-2022 MLIS SGO Officer Nominations
SGO is seeking nominations for the executive committee leaders for the 2021–2022 school year. Please nominate yourself or your classmates for the following positions:
     * Co-Chair #1
     * Co-Chair #2
     * Communications Officer
     * Treasurer
You may make multiple nominations for a position by submitting the form again.

Eligibility:
Any currently enrolled MLIS student who will also be enrolled in the following academic year is eligible to run for positions.

Expectations:
Officers must be available to attend once-monthly SGO meetings, or be able to make other arrangements to ensure proper fulfillment of duties.

NOMINATIONS WILL CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Nominees will be contacted to accept their nomination.

The SGO Co-Chairs are the faces and voices of students for the administration. Co-Chairs organize and schedule meetings, attend and present at Orientation each semester, and represent or delegate representation of SGO at other meetings or events. SGO Co-Chairs also recruit new representatives for committees/student groups and plan/coordinate SGO events.

Communications Officer
The Communications Officer creates and disseminates meeting agendas in cooperation with the Co-Chairs. They record and produce minutes of all meetings, administer SGO social networking sites, and update the blog. The Communications Officer also invites new classes of MLIS students to the private student Facebook group. Other duties as needed.

Treasurer
The Treasurer tracks and submits funding requests to GSAB for reimbursement. They maintain a spreadsheet of financials and answer any questions about finances at SGO meetings. The SGO Treasurer serves as a representative at GSAB monthly meetings and produces financial reports as required. Other duties as needed.
