Please complete the Application Form below to submit your interest in becoming a WPATH GEI SOC8 Certified Mentor.

Please note that you must have completed the WPATH GEI Certification Process and be a current WPATH GEI SOC8 Certified Member.

To be a WPATH GEI SOC8 Certified Mentor, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be certified via “grandparenting” or the regular certification process. Many of the qualifications to be a mentor will already be met once you are certified so familiarize yourself with these criteria.

2. Complete the application below indicating your interest in becoming a WPATH mentor.

3. In addition to being licensed (or the equivalent) in your specialty, you must be able to illustrate your experience as a supervisor, mentor or teacher in your applied clinical specialty. Being a mentor is about the clinical phase of certification and we expect our mentors to have some experience in training others.

4. Agree to be listed in the mentor directory on the WPATH website and to offer your services to WPATH members seeking mentoring for certification.

5. Agree to follow the WPATH mentoring process with your mentee.

6. Agree to follow WPATH Ethics and the SOC.

7. Agree to participate in a 1-on-1 onboarding/training session with a WPATH GEI SOC8 Certified Mentor.
