We are thrilled to welcome you to our 5th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival and Celebration! Your dedication to making this event a success is greatly appreciated.

We offer many volunteer opportunities for individuals, families and for high school students. 

For high school volunteers, we are delighted to offer an opportunity to earn community service hours that can contribute to your college applications. Your commitment to this meaningful cause not only enriches the celebration but also provides you with valuable experiences for personal and academic growth. SETUP -  You will be serving with a team of volunteers at the Juneteenth event to help set up tables, chairs, bouncy houses, kids section, etc. When you arrive on the day of the event, you will receive further instructions concerning your roles and responsibilities.
CLEAN UP/BREAKDOWN - Make sure that all vendors have their areas cleaned.  Help outdoor vendors with tent and table disassembly.   When you arrive on the day of the event, you will receive further instructions concerning your roles and responsibilities.

Parking Attendants - 8 volunteers each time frame

Children's Zone (6 people per Volunteer Hours)   You will be serving with a team of volunteers to facilitate games, crafts, face painting, and other fun activities for the kids at the Juneteenth event.   When you arrive on the day of the event, you will receive further instructions concerning your roles and responsibilities.

Children's Play Village ( 6 people per Volunteer Hours) You will be serving with a team of volunteers at the Juneteenth event to help at the bouncy houses, kids section, etc. When you arrive on the day of the event, you will receive further instructions concerning your roles and responsibilities.

Restroom Checks - Restocking Toiletries and Cleaning bathrooms (5 people).  When you arrive on the day of the event, you will receive further instructions concerning your roles and responsibilities.

Greeters - Greeting people throughout the day.  5 people needed during each Volunteer hour(s)    When you arrive on the day of the event, you will receive further instructions concerning your roles and responsibilities.
