United Nations Day is celebrated on 24th October to commemorate the establishment of the United Nations on 24th October 1945. United Nations work as an intergovernmental organization to maintain friendly relations among countries of the world and to promote peace and security on a global level. United Nations is also functioning as a global forum for solving complex problems that affect people everywhere.
On this day, a concert is held every year in the General Assembly Hall of the Organization at the UN Headquarters in New York. The theme of UN Day 2023 is "Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity"
