ACEs Application Fall 2024 

We are happy that you are interested in becoming an ACE! The A Center Explorers (ACEs) are students who represent The A Center at various recruitment events throughout the year. These students are trained to speak to prospective students and guests about what the University of Arizona and The A Center both have to offer, as well as how to explore majors before, during, and after admission to the University.

These are the things you can gain from your experience as an ACE: 

1. Gain valuable experience while earning 1 unit of internship credit towards your degree.

2. Make a real difference by guiding students towards discovering their academic and career paths.

3. Join a great community where you can create lasting connections with peers and incoming students alike.

4. Collaborate with a diverse team of individuals, learning to leverage each other's strengths towards shared goals

5. Hone your communication skills through opportunities to present ideas and engage with diverse audiences.

6. Take charge of projects and initiatives, developing valuable leadership skills that will set you apart in your future career endeavors.

 Students in The A Center Explorers program participate in a one-unit internship course geared toward development of leadership, communication, and professional skills.

In addition you will be meeting campus resources from all round campus and collaborating with other ACEs on projects. The ACEs internship requires attendance to receive credit. The Fall 2024 ACEs class will be every other Monday from 4-5:30pm in the 4th floor BASC conference room.

We are looking to schedule a Next Steps meeting within the next month to solidify the ACEs for the Fall 2024 semester. During this meeting we will ask you some questions to get to know you better and also give you the opportunity to ask us any questions. Once we have met with the applicants we will finalize the new ACEs for Fall 2024.

Which days and times are you usually available for the Next Steps Meeting? (Meetings will be over Zoom and should last no more than 30 minutes).
