Join us on March 5, 2024 at 5:00 pm to register your child for our 2024-2025 school year. We will be offering this evening event to learn more about the PK Counts program, meet our staff, explore our classrooms, and get more information on the requirements for this FREE state funded Pre-Kindergarten program. Please note PK Counts students MUST attend five days per week for the 180 day school year.

www.edisonearlylearning.org click on "enrollment form 24-25" & the "PK Count enrollment" form to begin the enrollment process. Yes, we need both forms completed!!!
PK Counts Program Enrollment Requirements:
- Student must turn 3 by September 1, 2024
- Student must not be eligible for public school Kindergarten
- Student must live in a household meeting income guidelines (at or below 300% federal poverty level 2024)
- Attend all 5 days per week
- Attend all 180 school days
- Student can not accumulate more than 10 unexcused absences
- Must attend full-day program from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
The following document should be handed in on March 5th to complete the enrollment process:
1) Student Birth Certificate
2) Proof of PA residency (utility bill is best)
3) Acceptable Income Verification Items (for all members of the household):
____ W-2 (2023 form)
____ Paystub(s) reflecting earnings (1 pay period for each working family member)
____ IRS form used for reporting tips
____ Written employer statement of anticipated earnings
____ Self-Employed- tax retrn or business records establishing profit
____ Unearned income- Social Security letter stating the amount of SS benefits
____ Child support documenting amount paid (deduction) or payment received (inclusion)
The student's application is not complete until ALL documentation is submitted and accepted. Acceptance letters for the PK Count program will be sent to families in late spring.
