Wilderness youth Project is a local organization with a mission to foster confidence, health, and a life-long love of learning for young people and families through nature connection and mentoring.
More specifically, we believe all children need nature and should have access to nature regardless of gender, class, culture, sexual orientation or set of abilities.

If our mission aligns with you, consider volunteering with us this summer! Our volunteers have a unique opportunity to develop their curiosity, confidence, and mentoring skills while exploring Santa Barbara county. Our volunteers commit to being present and having fun for a minimum of one week during summer. If you are interested in volunteering, learning about the mentoring ways of WYP, or improving your skills as a nature-based mentor sign up by filling out this questionnaire.
