Breteau Foundation's Online Maths School 2020- South Africa
The Breteau Foundation is a not for profit organisation working with schools teachers and learners worldwide to support digital learning in schools. The Breteau Foundation provides technology, teacher training and learning resources aligned to national curriculums in order to support schools.
All Breteau Foundation projects that involve children are about children’s education and development. This means their work is primarily focused on helping children become more engaged and motivated in their education, progress academically and increase their knowledge and confidence in digital skills.
The Breteau Foundation monitor and evaluate their work so that they can continue to improve their support to schools. To do this, they undertake a range of studies to review the impact of their work such as: learner engagement and motivation in using technology to learn, learning and academic progress with technology and the development of learner’s digital skills.
The Doodle maths software will capture the students learning progress data. The Breteau Foundation may analyse some of the data collected from our school, draw conclusions and may publish their findings. If they do publish their research, no learner’s name or individual learner’s details will be shared. All data is maintained at the highest standard of confidentiality.
This is a wonderful opportunity that may support your child’s learning.
